FALL CLASS CHALLENGE

WE’RE DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY — BETTER — THIS YEAR!

Class Challenges have always been a particularly special time in the studio. This year, I knew I wanted to do things differently — better — and I’ve been turning over what that could look like in my mind for months.

I didn’t want to emphasize an 'all or nothing' mentality. I wanted to create a Class Challenge that was fun, energizing, & exciting, while allowing for flexibility and honoring my deeply held belief that yoga is a PRACTICE — there’s no finish line.

So this year, there isn’t one.

You choose your goal. 5 classes might represent a real commitment. For someone else, it might be 15 or 30. Every 5 classes gives you something to work toward — and another reason to keep showing up.

And I’m doing it with you! My name is the first on the board, and my personal goal is to take 10 classes during the Challenge Period. I spend a lot of time teaching yoga, and sometimes I need a reason to re-prioritize my own practice, too.

As a military spouse, this is a particularly uncertain time for my family. I feel this uncertainty in my body as stress, anxiety, tightness, tension, and sometimes, panic. This isn’t the first time I’ve navigated these feelings; they’re what brought me to yoga in the first place 15 years ago.

Movement, mindfulness, & community are a salve for the uncertainty we’re all carrying right now.

Maybe you're new to yoga. Maybe it's been awhile. All are welcome.

Wherever you’re starting from, choose a goal that means something to you. You don’t have to share it publicly — you just have to write your name on the board.

Let’s show up for one another & practice together — we start Saturday, 10.10!
